This was a very clean and comfortable diner. The food was delicious and the service was very fast! The only downside was that the older lady who was our waitress could have been a bit nicer. She was not as informative of what could go on the sandwiches as she could have been, either. Other than that, this is a great stop if you're looking for great food that's fast and still feels at home. I would definitely go back!

Peggy's is a landmark in the area, providing quality food and service for over 50 years!  Best pies in the area!

This is our stop every time we venture from Lancaster to western PA.  The breakfast is better than any diner I've ever visited.  The lunch & dinner menu is perfect.  However, the winner is the Sunday lunch special(s).  We try to time our return to coincide with the Sunday lunch crowd.  It will remind of you of an episode of Alice, and Mel's Diner.  I'm old.
You don't find many town diners like this anymore.  The waitresses have been working there for years...sassy, sexy, and smart! They'll remember your name if you're a one time per year customer.
I'm only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I've never bought a winning scratch-off lottery ticket in that place.  I don't trust the guy with the thick mustache.  He reminds me of a Gambino.  He's up to something, but it makes me come back.

Alright so I think I might have jumped the gun on my last review... Peggys is a blast from the past but the food quality and the cleanliness has gone way way way down hill.. I had the opportunity to eat here two more times since the last post (Just to really get a feel), and wow... I misjudged this by a long shot.. I sadly will not be returning... This is a diner that needs some serious help.... Sad.
